Privacy policy
Smoke Free Music (smokefreemusic.com) is a place with songs and texts about leaving cigarettes and nicotine. This page explains — simply and without legal jargon — what we do with data, and what we don’t do.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no passwords.
- No mailing list, and we never ask for your address.
- No tracking between pages and no advertising cookies.
- We don’t sell or share anything with anyone.
What is recorded anyway
Like every server, ours — and Cloudflare, which stands in front of it — logs technical details about visits: IP address, time and which page was opened. That is used only for security and protection against attacks, and we don’t link it to you as a person.
We count visits without cookies: we know how many pages were opened, not who opened them.
Cookies — three, and only if you set them yourself
There is no “accept cookies” bar, because there is nothing to accept: no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies. Three functional cookies can still appear, and only through your own click:
- Your rating —
fy_rostremembers the rating you gave a song, for one day. Without it the same rating would be counted again every time you open the page. - Your story —
fy_brtstores the keys to the texts you sent us yourself, so that you can see your own text while others wait for review. Nothing else is read from it. - Comment — if you tick “Remember me”, the browser keeps your name, e-mail and website for next time. You tick that box yourself; it is not ticked in advance.
None of them is used for tracking. All can be deleted in your browser, and the site works without them.
If you write to us
If you send us a message — a story you want to share or a question — it stays with us until you ask us to remove it. See Data deletion.
External services
Some songs and films can also be opened on YouTube or Facebook. There their rules for data apply, not ours — we measure nothing there.
Artificial intelligence
The texts are ours. Music and voice are created by an AI model, and every song is marked as AI content. We don’t hide that.
